Courtney Ellington is the CEO of OneVet OneVoice, 1st Vice Commander of American Legion District 8, Commander of Post 333, Executive Director of Veteran Success Center, and Veterans Justice Court Mentor Throughout this pandemic, Ellington has helped multiple Veterans with job placement, clothing, training, and supportive services.


Joan Lee is a Gulf War, Honorably Discharged Army Veteran and American Legion member. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wayland Baptist College in Sierra Vista, AZ and did the Career Switch Program at Old Dominion University to earn her Teaching Certification. She has worked in the Education field for over 15 years. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Homeland Security with an emphasis in Emergency Management Planning at Touro University.


 

Hanley Chan is the Director of Public Affairs and recently fought hard to push a legislation with the help of Supervisors Gordon Mar and College Boardmember Alan Wong to give free access to SF paid parks to veterans for mental health..

Eddie Ramirez has been serving his fellow veterans in a variety of ways for the past 10 years. Eddie founded OneVet OneVoice in 2013, when he realized that in order to truly serve his fellow veterans, he needed an organization to serve as a proving ground for his model of veterans’ care. 


Erroll Jackson is synonymous with high quality, flawlessly produced, well attended, large national and regional live events and is infamous in the San Fran Bay Area, where he has an unmatched and long-standing legacy of being the premier promoter and producer in the Bay, by creating some of the most popular, memorable, unique and prestigious shows and events in comedy, theatre, music and concert series in the entertainment industry for over 25 years

Hira Zahir spent half her life overseas in warzones throughout various countries and half of it growing up in low-income neighborhoods in San Francisco, CA. She has lifelong experience regarding military and veteran matters. She has a background and advanced degrees in International Relations, Humans Rights and International Law. She specializes in working with vulnerable, marginalized and exploited populations including veterans both locally and internationally and has a background in Human Rights, refugee work, veteran affairs and policy, and other areas to help prevent endless cycles of trafficking and violence


Chris McDonald Volunteer as 1 of 17 Veteran Affairs Commissioners where we hold hearings and submit recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor regarding the problems, interests, and needs of veterans and their families.
