Director of Public Affairs

Hanley Chan was born and raised right here in San Francisco. He has an Associates of Science in Administration of Justice from City College of San Francisco and Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from New College of California. He served his county in the US Navy as an Aviation Ordinance men and an Armory Crewmen for Army National Guard and currently the Director of Public Affairs for a nonprofit organization called One Vet One Voice. He is also the Adjutant for American Legion Post 599, Commissioner for the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Commission, District Appeals Board member for the US Selective Service System, and first minority to get elected to the largest private investigator association in California called California Association of Licensed Investigators as a district director. Hanley Chan recently fought hard to push a legislation with the help of Supervisors Gordon Mar and College Board member Alan Wong to give free access to SF paid parks to veterans for mental health.
